This acquisition brings additional enterprise connectors in-house along with a veteran Oracle development team, further driving Avalara’s ability to provide best-in-class services to enterprise customers and partners as both the engine and the connector.

Avalara for Oracle connectors facilitates communication between the Oracle Cloud Financials and Avalara’s AvaTax solution. The Avalara for Oracle connectors takes Oracle’s out-of-the-box APIs (Fusion, JDE, PeopleSoft, etc.), enhances them to contain the necessary level of detail for tax calculation, transforms them to adhere to Avalara’s API formats, integrates them into AvaTax and then returns the fully calculated taxes in batch and/or real time to the originating Oracle module.
